(1) When an action began to happen in the past and just finished at the time we are speaking or writing the sentence, we use "Present Perfect Tense" for the verb.

For example 例如：
Dad has just finished his work.

" I" p# H6 ?% P(2) When an action began to happen in the past and is till going on now at the time we are speaking or writing the sentence, we can also use "Present Perfect Tense".

For example 例如：
I have lived in Hong Kong for 10 years.

(3)To use this tense, we add the word "has" or "have" before the verb and we change the verb to its "past participle" form.
使用「現在完成式」時，我們要把動詞變成「過去分詞」(past participle)，以及在「過去分詞」的前面加上 "has" 或者 "have"。

Jimmy has done his homework.
We have finished the English test.
She has gone to her ballet class with her mother.

Note: What is the "past participle" of a verb? For most of the verbs, you just have to add "ed" at the end to change it into "past participle". For the others (i.e. irregular verbs), you may look up in your dictionary or check it out in this link.
